1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Snaplist ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Snaplist provides a service that allows you to:

  • Track changes to your playlists over time across multiple streaming platforms (Spotify, YouTube Music)
  • Create and maintain historical snapshots of your playlists
  • View detailed change history (tracks added/removed and when)
  • Browse and discover your playlists across platforms
  • Manage and organize your playlist history and analytics

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. When you delete your account:

  • All your tracked playlists will be removed
  • All playlist change history and snapshots will be deleted
  • Your subscription will be cancelled
  • All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and limitations. Details of each plan are available on our pricing page. Free plans may have restricted features and usage limits.

5.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of that period.

5.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing. We will provide advance notice of any price changes and give you the opportunity to cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Remove or modify any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Snaplist and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Availability at all times (we may perform maintenance or updates)
  • Specific results from using the Service
  • Compatibility with all devices or platforms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPLIST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any conduct or content of third parties on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snaplist and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any rights of another party.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Snaplist operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Snaplist regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
